ABOUT US

Crest Film Academy is a global platform for learning advanced filmmaking and media studies. Highly acclaimed professional and academic mentors teach live and interactive graduate-level courses to train today’s professionals and aspiring filmmakers. We strongly believe, Film is the most important Artistic Medium of Expression of our time and its impact on our lives is multi-faceted. Alongside, it is a highly technical form of visual storytelling. With the ever-growing technological advancement and parallelly evolving viewing platforms, the technical aspect of filmmaking is changing rapidly. To keep up with the advancement of world cinema and the transforming audience in this revolutionary time of the internet, it has become essential to continuously upgrade one’s skills and knowledge. Crest Film Academy is committed to train future filmmakers for the modern world cinema with the most updated skills to meet the growing demand of the global audience.

We firmly stand for the universal right to education for all. Most prestigious universities require high admission criteria and potential talented filmmakers are discouraged by the overwhelming admission requirements like TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, or GRE - we believe this is not an effective way to judge an artist. Moreover, the daunting cost of education in these top-tier film institutes is unaffordable for most. Therefore, Crest Film Academy initiates to bring the top mentors from these world-renowned universities to the students at only around 5% of the actual cost, where the only prerequisite is one’s willingness to learn. We are proud to be a partner in making future master filmmakers who would shape our world for tomorrow.
